Getting Started with TCS Fuel


How long does it take to get started?

Signing up for a TCS Fuel account takes less than 10 minutes through our application portal. Your TCS Fuel account will be created shortly after submission of your application. Your physical fuel cards will be shipped to the address you provide within 3–5 business days. Please note that TCS cards are shipped via FedEx or UPS and will not be delivered to a PO Box.

Is the TCS card a credit card?

The TCS Fuel Card is not a credit card; however, it allows you to easily add funds through ACH credit, Western Union, third-party checks, Zelle, credit card, debit card, and digital wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).

Will you check my credit score?

No. Our fuel accounts are cash-secured and do not require a credit check, making them accessible to drivers and fleets regardless of credit history, so you can get started quickly without worrying about your credit score or lengthy approval processes.

How do I activate my TCS fuel card?

When you receive your fuel cards, log in to mytcsfuel.transconnectservices.com to activate your fuel card account. You’ll go through a few steps to assign and activate individual cards and secure the account. You can also call our 24/7 Customer Service line at 844-827-7696.

How can I check my application status??

Our automated application portal provides clear directions on how to sign up for the TCS Fuel Card while also keeping you updated on your application process.


Using the Fuel Card


Where is the TCS Fuel Card accepted?

The TCS Fuel Card is accepted nationwide and throughout Canada at more than 12,000 truck stop fueling locations, including our network of over 2,300 in-network locations, including TA®, Petro Stopping Centers®, TA Express®, AMBEST, 7FLEET Diesel Network, Casey’s, Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Sapp Bros, Road Ranger, and more.

How can I find the in-network discount fuel locations?

When you become a client, you can find truck stops with discounts using our Fuel Finder on the TCS Mobile App and client website. To preview our in-network locations, use this interactive map to view locations and average discounts.

Where do I see fuel discounts?

The discounted fuel price is not shown at the pump at the time of purchase. You will see the posted retail price when fueling, but your negotiated discount is applied after the transaction is processed. To view your actual discounted price, along with detailed savings and transaction history, simply log into your TCS Fuel account on the TCS Mobile App or MyTCSFuel client site.

Does TCS offer discounts for things other than diesel?

The TCS card offers discounts when purchasing: Diesel #1 & #2, Biodiesel, Reefer, DEF,  Truck Repairs, Tire Purchase, and Truck Service & Tire Discounts at TA Truck Service Centers.

Do discounts also apply for RVs?

No, discounts do not apply to RVs. The TCS Fuel Card is designed specifically for commercial trucking operations, so its negotiated fuel discounts are limited to qualifying business vehicles. Personal vehicles and RVs are not eligible to receive the same discounted pricing at in-network fuel locations.

Account Funding, Fees, and Costs


How do I load funds onto my TCS account?

We make it easy to fund your TCS Fuel Card through ACH credit (bank to bank transfer), bank wire, Western Union, third-party checks (Comchek, EFS checks, or T-chek), Zelle®, credit card, debit card, and digital wallet payments like Apple Pay® and Google Pay™. A complete list of options and instructions will be provided when you activate your account.

How much money can I load onto my TCS account?

Most clients choose to load enough funds on their accounts to cover approximately 5–7 days of fuel purchases, allowing them to stay on the road without frequent reloads. However, there are no minimum balance requirements or maximum limits, so you have the flexibility to load and manage your account in a way that best fits your operation.

What are the transaction fees?

You pay $0 transaction fees for fuel purchases at all in-network locations, helping you maximize your savings every time you fuel. The card is also accepted at over 12,000 out-of-network locations nationwide, giving you added flexibility when needed, though transaction fees may apply and vary by location.

Are there any monthly fees?

No. TCS does not charge any annual, monthly, membership, or account activation fees. This means you can sign up, maintain your account, and use your fuel card without added overhead costs cutting into your savings.


Account Management


Can I manage multiple fuel cards under one account?

Yes, you can manage multiple fuel cards under one account based on your company size, whether you are an Owner Operator, small trucking company, or larger fleet. Through your TCS account, you can assign cards to drivers or vehicles, track transactions, and monitor usage all in one place.

Can I assign different permissions to drivers or employees?

Yes, you can assign different permissions to drivers or employees based on their role. Within your TCS account, you have full control to set limits, manage access, and define how each user can use their fuel card. As your team changes, you can quickly add new users, remove existing ones, and update permissions at any time to keep everything aligned with your business needs.

Can I deactivate a card if it is lost or stolen?

Yes. In the event your card is stolen or misplaced, call our 24/7 Customer Service line at 844-827-7696. We can quickly disable the card to prevent unauthorized use and supply a replacement if needed.

How do I cancel my TCS fuel card account?

Contact our 24/7 client services team at 844-827-7696 to cancel your account.

Download the app directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play to enjoy the convenience of managing your fuel card account anytime, anywhere.
